What is your review of Edureka (company)?

would have see this while enrolling for big data in edureka.. first they called me offering discount , they took an online test for that. Since i am from non-IT background i coudnt even answer wats the difference between structured and unstructured data..even then i was offered discount. I would have thought for a second. ITS TYPICAL INDIAN MENTALITY..they are cashing on. Offering discounts. Then i opted for emi instead of lumpsum payment of fee.

They have clearly informed that the course is mentioned for non-IT people and its not mandatory to have prior knowledge of any programming language.

Then started, first 4 weeks entire java language done. Including programming. Although the tutor was knowledgeable no doubt, but course was done in a hurry burry schedule. Then comes first assignment and test. I couldn’t do assignment it was very tough and even after copying just got 60 marks in test. I remember we had optional in engineering for java one semester. If a university is offering java language itself for one http://semester.ie. 6months. Edureka guys expects us to do in 4 weeks..marvellous.

Some people started questioning, but 95% people still kept quite and waiting. May be we are more stubborn to accept been foolish on our parts. Moreover we kept ourselves ignored from the fact that the course is desigbed and endorsed by NIT but there was no involvement of any NIT in entire program.

Second month, its big data prerequisites session started. Tutor changed and he had to refer google if we ask any doubts.

Then comes distributed and parallel computing, a lady tutor comes, she blocks all our doubts and teaches us non-stop.

Then few more started complaining. After lot of complaints raised , nearly 2 weeks later a good tutor was assigned. but again, its a huryy burry.. Map reduce and hdfs completed in 6 weeks. We cudnt even do one mapr program, then started scala, rdd, sql, every two weeks one program…and its mentioned for working professionals.

HERE COMES COVID…so no assignments or tests conducted for next 4 months, but keep on covering new concepts every two weeks.

Ive finally woke up and said to myself i wont be able to do this and put request for quitting. Ive been replied , No option for leaving in the middle as per T&C , and ive to pay entire fees even if i dont attend. This was not informed to the student before enrolling. Even if i want to extend or take gap to join next batch, i need to pay additional 5k for chanage of batch.

Now i don’t have any option to continue pay my EMIs even if dont want to attend my class. These kind of complaints we found many in edureka forums, but we really dont know how to stop this.

They stopped taking calls from us and volunteers stopped responding.

Such a worthless and fraudsters making into top 10 online training institutes in INDIA. IF ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO COMPLAIN ON THEM, OR STOP THEM CHEATING ATLEAST FROM IN FUTURE , PLEASE
